Naturalist Clayton Anderson will lead beginners through the basics of bird identification and bird behavior! Millions of people around the world enjoy bird watching, but it can be intimidating if you’re a rookie. The restored wetland of Middle Harbor Shoreline Park is a beautiful backdrop for observing the antics of avian visitors as they migrate along the Pacific Flyway. Come and join us for a fun and easy going introduction to birding!
Clayton Anderson is a lifelong naturalist & master birder. He currently works as an environmental educator and serves on the board of the Golden Gate Audubon Society and the Insect Sciences Museum of California. He’s also a tropical fish hobbyist!
Bring binoculars if you have them, but we’ll have some to share if you don’t. Light snacks and beverages will be provided!
