Join naturalist Nik Bertulis for a leisurely stroll following the legacy remnants and underground network of culverts and drains that represent the once wild and free-flowing Derby Creek. We will look for evidence of the historic riparian ecosystem and for those with the most recent version of the inaturalist app we will use artificial intelligence to identify and document plant and animal species along the route.

$10 suggested donation.

We will meet at the picnic tables across from the Doyle Street Greenway Raingardens and then head "downstream" towards Shellmound, the historic bay outlet. Near the confluence of the south fork we will loop back and end up where we started.
